Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement
The criteria for selecting students for the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement will be the same as that for Superior Cadet Decoration.It will be a LET 2 or LET 3 cadet.

Sons of the American Revolution Award
Recipient must- (1) Be in good standing militarily and scholastically at the time of selection and presentation of the award. (2) Show a high degree of merit with respect to leadership qualities, soldierly bearing, and excellence. Since there are many awards for scholarship alone that should not be duplicated, excellence is defined as all around excellence in the Army Junior ROTC program studies and activities.

The Military Order of World Wars Medal
Cadet must- (1) Be in good standing in all military aspects and scholastic grades at the time of selection and presentation of the award. (2) Have shown marked improvement in both military and scholastic grades at the time of selection and presentation of the award. (3) Have indicated by military and scholastic grades, extracurricular activities, or individual endeavor a desire to serve his or her country. (4) Not have previously received this award.

Daughters of the American Revolution Award
The cadet must- (1) Be a member of the graduating class. (2) Be in the top 25 percent of the cadets in Junior ROTC and academic subjects. (3) Have demonstrated qualities of dependability and good character, adherence to military discipline, leadership ability, and a fundamental and patriotic understanding of the importance of Junior ROTC training.

American Legion Award for Scholastic Excellence
The cadet must- (1)Be in the top 10 percent of his or her class in academic subjects. (2)Be in the top 25 percent of his or her class in Junior ROTC subjects. (3)Have demonstrated qualities of leadership. (4)Have actively participated in related student activities such as student organizations, constructive activities, or sports.

American Legion Bronze Medal for Military Excellence
The cadet must- (1)Be in the top 25 percent of his or her class in academic subjects and Junior ROTC subjects. (2)Have demonstrated outstanding qualities in military leadership, discipline, character, and citizenship.

National Sojourners Award
The cadet must- (1)Be in the second or third year of Junior ROTC. (2)Be in the top 25 percent of his or her academic class. (3)Have encouraged and demonstrated the ideals of Americanism by deed or conduct or both. (4)Have demonstrated a potential for outstanding leadership. (5)Not have previously received the award.

Scottish Rite of Freemasonry JROTC Medal
The cadet must- (1)Have contributed the most among cadets on campus to encourage and demonstrate Americanism, by deeds or conduct during participation in extracurricular activities or community projects. (2)Have demonstrated academic excellence by being in the top 25 per cent of his or her academic class. (3)Have demonstrated a potential for outstanding leadership by exhibiting qualities of dependability, good citizenship, and patriotism. (4)Be in the second year of a 3-year program or in the third year of a 4-year program. (5)Not have previously received this award.

U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Award for JROTC
The cadet must- (1)Be in the second year of a 3-year program or in the third year of a 4-year program. (2)Be in the top 25 percent of his or her academic class. (3)Have demonstrated outstanding leadership traits and possess the potential for assuming positions of increased responsibility. (4)Participate in extracurricular activities that foster both scholastic and military excellence.

Noncommissioned Officers Association (NCOA) Award for JROTC
The cadet must have consistently exhibited the best military bearing, personal appearance, deportment, and leadership ability in his or her unit.

Medal for Heroism
Awarded by the Department of the Army (DA) to any JROTC cadet who performs an act of heroism. The achievement must be an accomplishment so exceptional and outstanding that it clearly sets the individual apart from fellow students or from other persons in similar circumstances. The performance must have involved the acceptance of danger and extraordinary responsibilities, exemplifying praiseworthy fortitude and courage.

Superior Cadet
1)Must be a JROTC cadet 2)Must be in the top 10% of the JROTC academically and top 50% overall in the cadets class 3)Recommended by SAI and principal.

Distinguished Cadet
Annual award given to number 1 cadet in the battalion based on overall GPA and academic standing.

N-1-2
Academic Excellence
Awarded annually to a cadet in each LET level with the highest overall GPA.

N-1-3
Academic Achievement
Awarded annually to a cadet in each LET level with a B average in all non-JROTC classes and the highest JROTC GPA.

N-1-4
Perfect Attendance
0 absences a semester, includes required rehearsals, classes, and required performances, parades, competitions, required SMART lunch and all JROTC fundraisers. For LET 2-4 this includes being on at least one special team.

N-1-5
Student Government
Any JROTC cadet at CHHS that participates in student government. Cadets that serve as an officer on SGA will be awarded the gold chord. NHS may recieve the same award.

LET Service
Must be an exceptional cadet with passing all other classes with a C and an 85 in JROTC.

N-1-7
Most dedicated/Outstanding Service
Awarded to one cadet at each LET level chosen by the SAI and the AI. Must participate in all fundraising, special teams, and service learning projects.

N-1-8
Most Improved Cadet
Awarded to one cadet below the rank of CPL. Chosen by the AI,determined to be the most improved during the school year. 3 cadets may be awarded per year.

Most improved Officers
Awarded to the most outstanding officer each year, selected by the SAI.

N-1-10
Most improved NCO
Awarded to the most outstanding NCO each year. Chosen by AI. May present up to 3 awards a year.

SAI Instructor Leadership
Awarded annually to one cadet pf each LET levelthat demonstrates the highest degree of leadership. Awarded by SAI/AI once a year to a total of 4 cadets.

Awarded annually to cadets that consistently present an outstanding appearance and high level of respect for the uniform.

Cadets that demonstrate a clear understanding and exhibition of all trained cadets at their LET level.
